Police protect girls forced to convert to Islam (UK)

Extremist Muslims who force vulnerable teenage girls to convert to Islam are being targeted by police, Met chief Sir Ian Blair has revealed.

Police are working with universities to clamp down on "aggressive conversions" during which girls are beaten up and forced to abandon university courses.

The Hindu Forum of Britain claims hundreds of mostly Sikh and Hindu girls have been intimidated by Muslim men who take them out on dates before terrorising them until they convert.

Sir Ian spoke about the problem at a conference organised by the forum.

A Met spokesman said: "Neighbourhood officers work with university authorities in London and we would encourage anyone targeted in this way to seek help and support and where necessary use third party reporting facilities if they do not want to contact police directly."

Ramesh Kallidai, of the Hindu Forum of Britain, said: "Some girls are petrified because they are constantly being phoned up, having their door knocked.

"One girl was beaten up on the street and others have been forced to leave university."

Bullies

To me, these men aren't merely bullies. They are full-fledged terrorists. The article merely refers to them as "Extremist Muslims". Just because they choose their innocent victims one at a time doesn't make them any less of a terrorist to me. They use fear, or terror if you will, to force people to convert. Isn't this the basis of terrorism as a whole?

Sounds like one hell of a good idea to me. I have known several women who were foolish enough to marry Muslim men. The men, several who were pilots in their home countries, spoke English fluently, and seemed westernized and charming while they were in the US. Once the girls married and moved to their husbands' home countries, the husbands reverted to the Muslim male character. A woman I knew in the Dallas area divorced her Jordanian husband and was awarded custody of her children. The husband kidnapped the kids during a custody visit and returned to Jordan with them. The ex-wife somehow managed to smuggle her kids out of Jordan. That put an end to the father's unsupervised custody visits.

I would never encourage someone who has not had minimal training to throw a punch at someone's solar plexus. In order to wind somebody the punch has to hit the right spot and it has to be a solid, hard shot. Doing this will throw an inexperienced fighter off balance. It will also open her up. Odds are that the dirtbag has been in a few scrums and can block the punch, then take advantage.

It would be better if she kneed the guy in the groin, or turned around and kicked the guy in the kneecap. This isn't a fair fight. Eyeballs are always a good target.
