NORTH MANATEE – The FBI has been called in to help local police search for a 13-year-old boy who was abducted at gunpoint this morning as he waited for a school bus in the Kingsfield Lakes subdivision in rural North Manatee County. A statewide Amber Alert has been issued in the case.
Police at noon updated the description of the suspect, now listed as a tanned white man, or possibly Hispanic man, in his 30s with a distinctive, bushy mustache who was last seen driving a red or burgundy Ford Ranger pick-up truck.
The victim, 13-year-old Clay Moore, is white, 5 feet tall and 100 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red-and-green Manatee School for the Arts school jacket. He has a birthmark on his forehead that turns dark red when he is scared or angry. The boy was waiting to board a bus for the Manatee School for the Arts in Palmetto.

Prayers for Clay, his family and the police looking for him.
We used to live in this neighborhood ... this is very troubling.
My driveway is 3/4 mile long, this is my biggest fear.
I hope he doesn't explode!...........or then again maybe he will! All over that prev!.......

How brazen to grab a child on the bus stop where other children are present. Prayers for this boy to be found quickly and unharmed.
NORTH MANATEE – Manatee police have found 13-year-old Clay Moore safe after he was missing for nearly five hours after being abducted at gunpoint at a school bus stop.
Moore was reportedly found in a farm field in far East Manatee off of State Road 64, with only minor scratches.
He was about to be reuinted with his parents soon.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, we come against this work of the devil and all works of those intent upon harming children. Father, cause this man to turn around toward You and to release this innocent child. Open the eyes of all those around him so they can find this perpetrator and bring him to justice. Be with Clay, Lord, and show him a way of escape. May Your heavenly angels surround him and may not one hair on his head be harmed. Hear us, O Lord, for the forces of evil never rest. In the Name of Jesus, we acknowledge that You are greater than all. Amen.

ANSWERED PRAYERS
This brings back memories of the kidnapping of another boy about the same age in Cape Coral, FL in the early 1970s. The pedophile lived nearby. He abducted the boy, by force, at the school bus stop. He brought him a short distance away, into the woods, tortured him, and killed him. I wonder if that pedophile has recently been released.
I pray they find Clay, safe and sound. But I have my doubts.

Thank you, Lord! I had been praying that this boy would have the assertiveness to escape from his captor. Now that has happened.
For once, it has ended well.
