Congress would first have to establish a House POW/MIA select committee.
So far, Ron Paul and his co-sponsor Anna G. Eshoo are the only Congressmen pushing for this. The rest of the House is just sitting on it.
Letting our missing troops rot.
Woow! You really need to reel on your comments and expand your knowledge way more before speaking like this.
NO ONE! is letting the POW and MIA rot. It has been worked on diligently behind the scenes. This falls under Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command.
Maybe a select committee is not being established due to...confidentiality? The covert ways people have been sent in?
Defense most likely works better without politicians. McCain/Kerry have been caught shredding documents on our POW/MIA.
By the way -- not that I mind, there's 1 or 2 on the list besides you (jmc813, maybe someone else) -- but why do you (as a Hunter supporter) want to be pinged on the Ron Paul list? Is he your "second choice"?
Hunter is probably my "second choice" if I had to choose (I really don't expect Tancredo to stay in long), but I'm so impressed with Ron that I'm not thinking about #2 right now.
Just curious. :-)
