Here's their website, where they now claim 1278 members:

Isn't MFSO one of Sheehag's groups?
"If he'd known the United States was going to invade Iraq, U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Liam Madden says he probably wouldn't have enlisted a month before. Still, he has no regrets."
Sure he doesn't.
If he has 'no regrets' then why the petition?
All three come from the same tree.
Ping;
I think a previous article or blogger here identified this group as a result of "astroturfing" and not legit grass roots. They are raising the next generation's crop of John Fing Kerry's.
Yep. This is another creation of the communist radical David Fenton and Fenton Communications.
These clowns ought to get a lot of people "signing on" to their petition. So, so many. Lots n lots.
"Here's their website, where they now claim 1278 members:"
More specifically, it simply claims 1278 military or veteran signers of the appeal.
There is no verification of that status, the person just types in a name and checks a box.
yes..they are sponsored the MOVEON.ORG people!!!
and jon carry is behind them as well.
Anyone can sign their petition and claim to be active duty. Here is the sign-up form:

I'll bet there are a lot of names like I.P. Freely and Seymore Butz on that list.
Well, considering who sponsored them, it might be a good idea to find out just what they did when they were in Iraq.
Veterans for Peace is a Marxist group that ditty-bops down to Cuba around November to honor communist veterans. It's a bunch of dirt bags that need a blanket party.
Guess they can't even have a factual website. The link on the webpage says info@appealforredress.org.
When the email window opens up it has this in the TO black, osokoni@mediumnews.net which is an african american website. What the devil are they trying to do?
Federal law requires everyone who enlists or re-enlists in the Armed Forces of the United States to take the enlistment oath. The oath of enlistment into the United States Armed Forces is administered by any commissioned officer to any person enlisting or re-enlisting for a term of service into any branch of the military. The officer asks the person, or persons, to raise their right hand and repeat the oath after him. The oath is traditionally performed in front of the United States Flag and other flags, such as the state flag, military branch flag, and unit guidon may be present.
In the Armed Forces EXCEPT the National Guard (Army or Air)
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
In the National Guard (Army or Air)
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the State of (STATE NAME) against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the Governor of (STATE NAME) and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to law and regulations. So help me God.
Guide Note: There has been some controversy about whether the phrase "So help me God" is mandatory. I have seen officers allow enlistees to omit these words, if they choose, according to their religious preference and beliefs. However, federal law does not appear to make any part of the oath optional. See 10 United States Code, Section 502.
