I don't think you are reading that article correctly - the objection is to proprietary software where the source code is not open to public examination and testing - which IMO the only way we can have confidence in the software component of any vote tabulating system.
The demorats have all ready tampered with voting machines. Gutless Republicans are letting it happen. RINOs are themselves corrupt. The only way to slow this crap down is when, "There is no honor among thieves," takes over and they destroy each other. Too many good guys still sitting on their hands, They only open them up to grab all the money they can get.
The article supports my point.
The corrupt Democrat wants the electronic 'voting' system accepted without any scrutiny of its code.
