Exactly. Here is is, the Leader of the Free World, and he's eating ribs with the folks at Porkers, not thinking of himself as any more important than they are.
It comes from within, Justa. He knows who he is in the scheme of things.......in the scheme of eternity.

Exactly. And it annoys me that they've been allowed to change their minds about what's going on. It was global cooling then global warming now climate change. They change their minds when the seasons change.

I know how you feel. I have a nephew who ran for congress in the last election as a dem. He ran the most terrible race I've ever seen. He was running against a congressman who had been in office many years. The congressman said before the election that whatever the outcome, he would not be able to shake the hand of his opponent. The republican congressman won with 2/3 of the vote. Hang in there friend.

I 'saw' him at the airport on election eve 2005! Everyone at the PAC office left in time to arrive early. But, they went home to change and pick up spouses. Not me, went directly to the airport and did not pass go and I saw AF1 up close!!!
While everyone else was sitting on Airport Drive, I was doing flips watching the President arrive. ;*)

Good evening Ms. Ohio. You know President Bush is just a good ole boy and makes himself at home where he is. He rises to the occasion whether at a state dinner or at Porkers.

And he's MUCH more comfortable at Porkers than at the State Dinners.
(I have a feeling Laura gets him through those. :)

Off topic, BUT...Did anyone see the story of Fannie Mae not giving out the bonuses to Franklin Raines of $11,000,000 and Jamie Gorelick at One Million plus? It was a Bloomberg story in our paper, but I did not hear a word ofit.
