McNulty, Gillibrand react to British troop plans
Democrats oppose President Bush's troops surge plan
Where is Osama bin Laden? McNulty asked. You know, five and a half years after this worst terrorist attack in the history of our country, we have about 28,000 young Americans either killed or seriously wounded in an effort to go after a bad guy, but the guy who did not attack us. And the guy who did attack us is still alive, free, planning another attack on our country. This is the definition of failure in a military operation. And nothing seems to be able to jar him back into the world of reality."

Actually the 9/11 planner has been in our custody for years and if we had actually caught Bin Laden years ago the public would have long ago forgotten about the need to deal with terrorism.

If Bin Laden's head was delivered on a silver platter tomorrow, these slimebags would say "So what? There's still violence in Baghdad."
Only when the Baghdad violence comes home to their districts would they wake up and realize we're in a war, and maybe not even then.
The odd irony is that the people suffering most from the Iraq War are the patriotic people in flyover country who serve in the military and don't vote for these peacenik pukes.
And the people suffering the most when the Islamofacists bring the war home will be the idiot constituents in the high population density districts who elected these slimebags.

Why don't we exhume the body from that mass funeral in Afghanistan that we caught on drone camera but did nothing about?

This is typical of the narrow minded, ignorant thinking of Libs. They think this war is revenge for 9/11. "They got us so we'll get them". They fail to realize the magnitude of the REAL threat in the world. A cancer that has metasticized throughout Europe, South East Asia and Indonesia.
Hey Libs - This is NOT about revenge you dopes!!!

Where is Osama bin Laden?
Painted all over the inside of a cave complex in Tora Bora.
This is do believe to be true.

I'm so sick of this bin-laden charade.
Why don't we ask these A$$wipes this.
"Mr/Mrs _______, recently you've been trying to show that iraq is not important, and that Afghanistan is vitally important instead. You've repeatedly brought up the fact that osama bin laden has not been caught, and that this another area where the president has failed miserably.
In 1996 Eric Rudholf went on the run to avoid being arrested for a bombing in an abortion center. President Clinton had 4 years to track down a terrorist inside the united states. Surely this would be vastly more easy than tracking someone on the other side of the world.
What possible reason could President Clinton have for not apprehending Eric Rudolf during that 4 year period, and why is President Bush being held to a much higher standard?
I think Hillary would be a prime candidate for this question... Why isn't the MSM asking this?

This is not, and has not, been about getting the person of bin-Laden. Did FDR fail in Germany because we never caught Hitler? Did the Cold War fail because we didn't kill Stalin??

Thousands of terrorists have been killed or captured, and there have been no (significant) terrorist attacks in the United States since 9/11. If the Demo-Socialists had controlled the White House instead of George W. Bush, there would have been several more 9/11's by now, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans and completely destroying our economy.

And, in those four years when the FBI's chief domestic terrorism task force head (THE guy responsible for domestic terrorism!) was spending all his time chasing down Rudolph in the woods of North Carolina, that same task force FBI leader said that "right wing Christian churches" represented his primary terrorism concern in the years leading up to the Y2K turnover!
But later, Clinton claimed EVERY DAY he was pursuing OBL ..... Right.

Killing Bin Laden will not interrupt the continuation, the organization, the plans or the support for Al Queda across the Middle East, anymore than the death of any Soviet dictator radically changed their course;
and it is only the ignorant (as to the nature of Al Queda) that believe otherwise.
That we did not yet kill Bin Laden is a bogus complaint made by the ignorant and hypocrites.

And the guy who did attack us is still alive, free, planning another attack on our country. How many millions of Russians, Britains, French, etc. did it take to get Hitler. This is cheap in comparison.

The Left's definition of failure is always tied to the amount of political capital they can earn from it.

Robert Rudolph hid out in the Mts. of Western NC for 5 years before being caught by his own blunder.
Afghan/Pakistan border region is about 1000 times larger, is a logistically hostile region with multiple ruling tribes and several languages, plus we don't have the green light from Pakistan for operations in this area.

I guess the Demo-Socialist would abandon Iraq and send all the troops out looking for OBL. Great strategy.
