Not only that, but according to reports from Australia, the Southern Hemisphere isn't even getting "global warming" at all. It's really "Northern Hemisphere Warming" that is happening. The ice thickness, etc., on Antarctica is holding steady or even growing.
While most of Antarctica is, in fact, getting colder, the Antarctic Peninsula has experienced some of the most extreme warming on the planet. This peninsula stretches northward toward the sourthern tip of South America and is much closer to the equator than most of the rest of the planet. It is on this portion of Antarctica where most of the dramatic glacial ablation has occurred. (Even in this "Hot" spot, only about 54% of glaciers are in retreat, with 46% either unchanged or growing.) This portion of Antarctica is clearly an anomaly compared to the rest of the continent. No doubt that this is where Algore would go for his publicity stunt.

the news of his plan for an international set of Live Earth concerts to promote massive government action to curb humanitys excessive reliance on energy. What hypocrites. So they are going to use a massive amount of natural resources and energy that will be required to stage these concerts to protest the use of too much energy reliance.
The left are freaking idiots.
