In a move to increase its relevance in the presidential selection process, the Golden State is set to jump up its primary from June of 2008 to February 5th, less than a year away.
This may benefit New York's presidential aspirants, and especially its Republican one.
Last week I noted Giuliani's electric support at the California Republican Party convention. A recent poll has resoundingly brought forth the same message. This morning, the Wall Street Journal's John Fund notes the following numbers:
With California moving its presidential primary to Feb. 5 of next year, what Golden State voters think about White House politics has actually begun to matter. A new poll of likely primary voters by San Diego-based Datamar, Inc. shows the two current frontrunners to be Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani. The poll shows Ms. Clinton with 34% of the vote, leading Barack Obama's 24% and John Edwards' 16%. Given Ms. Clinton's enormous name ID advantage, her lead is not compelling. On the GOP side, pundits were startled to see former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani with 41% support, John McCain with only 17% and Mitt Romney trailing with 11%.
It is early, and a great deal can happen in a year, but those are stunning numbers for the former Mayor. If present trends in California continue, the Golden State's primary move may just be Giuliani's golden ticket to the nomination.
Yep! Just a matter of time before William Jefferson Rudy Giulliani shites the bed.
Probably a presser where he dons his drag party outfits, pandering the the Log Cabin guys.
You can add Connecticut and New Jewsey to that mix as well.
After Her Heinous' comments about banning the Confederate Flag, a lot more states might be in play.
Sorry, for the spelling error. Corrected, the post should read:

I think a lot of them are radical too, My GOP. Good post!
If it was bogus why did the church approve it?
Dear BunnySlippers,
"If it was bogus why did the church approve it?"
Where did I say it was bogus?
Please re-read what I wrote, and then respond to what I actually wrote, and not what you read into it.
Thanks,

You must be either totally naive or completely stupid to think that Hillary Clinton won't resort to such actions.
Rudy will not lay down and play dead either. Her Highness will not have such an easy time trying to cut Rudy off at the knees.
Great list. A real keeper
Thanks. I actually had fun yesterday looking all those achievements up. I thought it would take me long to find the stuff but it came up just like that. Everything about Rudy is there in black and white on the internet.
The antiRudy group has spent months spamming every single Rudy thread, from the beginning, hurling insults and spurious garbage at him and anyone and everyone who isn't marching in lockstep with them. That's a far cry from someone stating that Hunter has NO chance; which he hasn't.
AFAIK, not a single antiRudy person has been banned and most of the vile, putrid, over the top posts against Rudy and his supporters/people just "leaning" towards him and/or Romney, have been allowed to stand...in violation of every FR posting rule there is.
The facts, the REAL FACTS, are not allowed to be posted about Hunter and people who even get close to posting them have been condemned to the lowest reaches of hell and/or banned, with some of these posts deleted.
And unlike the Rudy threads ( and to some extent, Romney threads ) Hunter threads have NEVER been invaded by those against him, nor spammed within an inch of said thread's life.
I'm all for an insult/personal attack free discussion/debate about Hunter. But asking me to give you a point by point debate, can probably only be done via FREEPmail. Should you care to do that, I'm game.
This can NOT be done on a thread and you know it.
As to the rest....just more of your own emotional, factless drivel.
But if he get to be President I can't get my machine gun. I really need one too.
John
I would guess your shoe size is a boy's 6.
I voted for Lieberman, for CT senator, but I won't vote for Rudy for any national office.
And you'd be wrong; as always!
Wow, everyday there's more good news. Thanks much.
I once said I didn't think Hunter could win with 2%.....plus I said I liked him but didn't like his anti-free trade stance.
I'm still here.
