TMZ has learned a gaggle of paparazzi just took off by helicopter from the Santa Monica airport, headed for Malibu. Their target: Britney Spears in rehab.
Spears checked into the ritzy Promises treatment center in Malibu today. We're told the doors are off the chopper so the paps can get a clear shot of the grounds as they hunt for the troubled singer.
The jerks with cameras are sicker than Britney, if that is possible.
Exactly ... Britney might be a stupid whore who's thrown her life away, but those bottom feeding paparazzi are lower than the lowest ambulance chasing personal injury lawyer.
Britney ought to hire a few score young women to shave their heads and mill about the grounds and drive off in limos. The paparazzi's heads would explode.

I doubt she's as stupid as she may be appear. I'd bet she's playing the media and learned well from her mentor Madonna that there's no such thing as bad publicity when trying to remake and restart her career. The more shocking the better. It worked for Madonna.

Nope, it's the people who consume what the jerks with the cameras offer who are the sick ones. The appetite for this stuff is overwhelming. People, Us, Entertainment Tonight, Hollywood Insider, Access Hollywood, E!, Greta, Nancy Grace and the rest of the celebrity-centered media are all there because a large measure of the public can't get enough of watching, hearing and seeing celebrities.
Of course, that does not stop the fools who watch this garbage from criticizing the paparazzi for being intrusive. They cannot make the connection between themselves and the paparazzi. And we wonder why people don't understand market economies.
