Thanks! It's great to learn about other cultures, so we can all learn to be more tolerant!

What is it with these people lately? He's protecting them from something? I don't think so.

a friend said. "She started to develop her own circle of friends and allowed the girls to express themselves in a more western way." Sounds to me like he lost control of his family and could not live with the shame.
So he had to kill them and then could not himself live with the guilt.

Riaz, who had spent the evening drinking, set himself on fire and died two days later. Muslims are not supposed to drink. Maybe he was having a once in a life time binge to get up the nerve to execute himself.

Didn't the 9/11 gang drink and carouse also? I think maybe the rules are relaxed for people about to go on jihad.

You ain't kidding, Victoria.

Any Westerner who marries someone from some "frontier region" of an Islamic country like this is really asking for trouble, in my opinon.

Wow...these people really have some problems dealing with the real world.
Radical Islam strikes again. I've often tried to figure out how their religion could turn so many of them "loony tunes".
I try to put myself in his shoes...come home from work, find out the daughter wants to be a fashion designer and this news requires him to blow the family away.
I have been really pi$$ed at various family members from time to time and always expressed my feelings vocally and then felt better afterward for leveling with them and clearing up a misunderstanding. Usually end up actually closer to that person after our rant/argument and a hug or a handshake always followed.
I can't even imagine the mind-set it would take to do what this guy did. I keep thinking that there has to be something that has these Islamo-terrorist really screaming angry about but they're too embarrassed to admit it (my rude son says it's because they have "teenie-weenie peenies") so they blame the Jews, western society, etc. for all kinds of trivia to hide their real problem.
It's like the main liberal theory:
If you can blame somebody and become a victim then you're good and they're bad...let's all sing Kumba Ya.

A father killed his wife and four daughters in their sleepI have always thought that the title "father" is something that should be earned and not awarded to those who amount to very little more than sperm donors.

Girl meets barbarian.
Girl marries barbarian.
Barbarian fears his woman might leave the cave and slaughters her and their brood with fire.
Barbarian kills himself for lack of easy victims.
Islam truly is a pathology that leads only to madness and death.

I think the males are the problem here.
Anyway, gotta go. Nighty night.

What I dont get is how Islamist feel they "speak" for God.
All other religions seem to understand that God is bigger than us.
How do they reconcile making these horriffic decisions on Gods behalf?
