"...City of Kennesaw..."
Right, I was thinking the city was called Kennesaw Mountain like the nearby battlefield. Congressman Larry McDonald represented that area. His district ran from Marietta through Rome and on up to the Chattanooga suburbs. I was a campaign boy for his '82 reelection and stayed long term in a motel located about where Marietta fades into Kennesaw.
He was right all along about the commies, though . . . and they got him just like he said they would . . .
