Mark my words - there will be legislation for a "National Firearms Identification Card" very soon.
You will be fingerprinted and all of your personal information will be collected.
When the weapons become illegal or are required to be registered, they will know just where to come to get them.

Just one final statement.
I've been sitting here getting more and more fed up with all of this talk about these, pieces of machinery, having no legitimate sporting purpose, no legitimate hunting purpose, people, that is not the point of the second amendment!
The second amendment is not about duck hunting, and I know I'm not going to make very many friends saying this, but it's about our right, all of our right to be able to protect our selves from all of you guys up there.

Every vote for a Democrat is a vote to give up your guns, always, period, no exceptions. Aren't you glad the "true conservatives" taught the GOP a "lesson" in 2006?

When will the democrat madness end?Never...these people are deranged. Here we are, at the birth of a war with a lunatic "religion" which has promised to kill us all...and our "elected representatives" are proposing to disarm us? It's not only madness, it is suicidal....the outcome, if they are sucessful, is going to get a great number of Americans killed.
It absolutely makes no sense.
Makes one wonder about the sanity of the people who actually "voted" for these people.
Kind of embarassing, really, knowing that I am country-mates with so many people who haven't a clue as to the danger that they are in.

Hmmm, I only have two named long guns and one shotgun that meets the named criteria.
I need to go shopping, I wonder if the Congresswoman would mine if I used her bill as a shopping list?
It's good to be concerned about these things, but McCarthy trots this out every year. If you want to see a Dem congresscritter shake and shiver, mention this bill and then whisper "1994" in their ear.

The Democrats can't help themselves. This particular legislation among others, contributed to their losing the House in 1994. And like someone picking on a scab, the Democrats seem addicted to gun control despite the fact its a vote loser. Insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results.

America is sliding into the socialism. Plain and simple.
Socialism means and has meant that government bureaucrats will be the haves and the citizenry will all be wearing the same clothes, eating the same food, (when it's available), living in the same kind of house, taking the same buses, thinking the same thoughts, saying the same words, and pledging elegance to the father of our new country.
Some folks thought that socialism was a thing of the past. Think again.
Some kooky paranoia? I hope so. Not possible? No, very possible.

`(iv) a fixed magazine capacity of more than 5 rounds.
This does not specify the shell! Aguila makes Mini-shells that are 1.5" OAL loaded, and you can fit a bunch into a tube that holds 5 3" shells- certainly six- and you can fit 6 into a tube designed for 3 3" shells, so almost ANY semiauto shotgun becomes covered under the law.
