If McCainiac is the answer it's a damn stupid question!
The problem with that argument is that it simply isn't true.
If Hillary is elected, we will have a gun grabbing, baby killing, gay pandering flaming liberal President that has at least some opposition from the GOP.
If McCain wins, we will have a gun grabbing, baby killing, gay pandering flaming liberal President that has the full support of the GOP.
The time for Senator McCain's leadership has past. Gone are the days when he could have supported the Bush administration with his good counsel, etc......
Senator Graham's WSJ splash fails to heal the wounds made by McCain's self-serving brinksmanship. Both are old men.
They need a porch for: SITTIN', STARIN' & ROCKIN'.
Those wishing to read the entire Gram article can go to http://www.nationalreview.com/ and look for the WSJ article link near the top right of the page. (I wasn't sure if we're allowed to post WSJ links.)
And how about GWB? Did he get your vote after signing it into law?
How about the president who signs it into law?
....or the Congress that passed it in the first place, or the Supreme Court that affirmed it?
The United States was an terrific experiment, good while it lasted.
That makes me glad he can't run for a third term. Between CFR and his stance on immigration and his drug entitlement program, he has damaged this party almost beyond repair. I support him in the WOT, but disagree with almost everything else domestically. BTW, I did hold my nose and vote him for him in 2004.
It's still the best game in town. You just can't count on politicians for anything except bs.
I don't know who first, but when McCain drops out (and he will be forced tto do so, I want to buy a ticket for that show. It will be worth the money. You can't beat that man for freaking out when he doesn't get his own way. They will need one of those old vaudeville hooks to get him off the stage. Can't wait!
Well - here is a McCain semi-supporter. What do we do now?
Why should you do anything other than think about what I say?
There are more McCain supporters and "semi-supporters" around here than you think.
Believe it or not, there's a McCain PING list here. BARF
I think people are getting nervous that McCain is getting real, credentialed conservative endorsements. If Reagan were to come back and endorse McCain, I suspect more than a few would tell Reagan to "Shut...up," claim that they never liked him, and that he was never a "real" conservative anyway.
So did Bush die to you when he signed it?
