John McCain is a scary thought as a potential president. While he generally manages to look halfway sane, I have seen occasions where his eyes exposed an insanity that is eerie to behold. The man did a great service and suffered greatly as a POW, but he does not belong in government, much less as President..

1) We should recognize that.

2) We should also recognize that being taken prisoner is not an accomplishment.

Yes, he did suffer for his nation...but since then he has not lived up to the promise: Keating, Bonano and now this sickening comment.

Sir, it's time to quit public life.
