First I've seen this.

Special prayers out from an 82nd guy and his entire family. None of you will ever be forgotten. Godspeed.

Thank you for the ping...little late in getting here. I see where Travis is now in California. I will send him & his family a card of thanks and get well wishes to the address they posted. I'll be keeping him, his family and his caretakers in my prayers, and I'll keep checking back to see updates on the website. God Bless our Heroes!

Thank you for the reminder... Travis crossed my mind on Thursday and I was going to check the website but didn't. Now, I've read that he made the trip just as promised and planned... and I am so glad. Continuing prayers.

I just thought that Memorial day was a good day to update Travis' progress. I don't know if you have followed his progress but it has been great being able to read about it everyday and see him improving. His attitude is wonderful and I hope he keeps it. Thanks be to God for his continued recovery.

This is the website:

This is the story on his homecoming this weekend. I was out of town so I missed it:

Thanks Tiki.

I have been caring for some sick folks here and haven’t been too active as of late with vets groups, or posting much.

I am so happy Travis is home. I was going on his family’s website routinely for a while, but haven’t been there for awhile. I’ll go on later today and check it out.

What an incredible young man! I just met another one like him, 25 years old, lost part of both legs in Iraq. Like Travis, he considers this just a bump in the road of life. He said, “Sure, it sucks not to have legs, but look at all the good things that have happened and the great people I’ve met because of this!” God bless them and those who help them to get “back on their feet” again!
