I do not like Newt for the sole fact he is more than willing to compromise with Hillary concerning health care. He is a good idea man but sucks as a leader. I think the next big thing that catches his fancy will keep his eye off the ball. That plus he is a recent convert to the global warming and green movement crap.
Agree on both counts - I was speaking in relative terms - better than Romney or Rudy or McCaine on the whole of the issues.
I'm on board for Fred Thompson, though - (maybe Thompson/Steele) - there are a number of good conservative minority candidates that Fred would look great running with....
