This is a logical, common-sense article. Another thing we should be asking all the global warming alarmists is why we don't do something really useful to contain some of the melting polar ice such as constructing a 7500 square mile inland sea in the Qatarra Depression which would involve a 50 mile canal from the Medditerranean Sea to the depression, which is largely uninhabited and impassible.

This sea would contain the melt-off from most of the Greenland glaciers and turn an environment viturally void of life into a vibrant source of sea life and shoreline villages which would support fishing and agriculture.

The main downside is that it wouldn't give the global warming alarmists control of first world economies-- which is their real objective.
