You are exactly right, the very reason I made the point. Before people get all upset with each other, Guiliani very well may NOT be the nominee. Thank you for posting the list.
Are you referring to your particular Church or all Churches? If by any chance it is the latter, how do arrive at this conjecture?
Are you saying that opposing a LIBERAL makes someone a "DU plant"?
>>>>#3 coming up perhaps?
Why don't you ask Jim? This is his thread.
But when Hitlary gets the 'rat nod, the hair of the 'social values' voters will stand up straight on end and they will vote for the GOP candidate.
Does this church know fully what Rudy stands for on ALL of the issues? What's the name of this evangelical church in Dallas that you speak of?
You're not alone, at least 10% of Republicans will not vote for someone like Giuliani under any condition.
You're right, it will never happen. Rudy is a true believer gun grabber. He has no real respect for the bill of rights, it's all "presidence" of the court... the courts rule the nation. Sign of a lawyer.
I'd like to extend an invide to www.gunsnet.net for a little hard core gun-nut posting. I'm the H&K91/G3/CETME/PTR91 moderator, but spend a lot of time in the AK and Commie-Sniper Rifle forums.
If you want to see where the gun owners are in their current mindset, look up "Jim Zumbo" and follow the links. You'll witness the melt down of a 40 year outdoor writer. He ended his career this weekend in dramatic fashon...
well fine, if that's what the primary process produces - fine.
none of the people here who like Rudy are saying the primary process should be short circuited and he should be INSTALLED as the nominee.
"Most of Clinton's policies are similar to most of mine." - Rudy Giuliani
I want to hear some answers from Rudy on these issues too. let's have at it, where are the primary debates?
Havent you got the memo? anyone who isnt behind rudy is really a leftist who wants hillary elected! (sarcasm to the extreme)
It is you who fails to grasp what I mean, EEE. I will not surrender my beliefs to vote for rudy.
I can't make it any clearer to you than that. I will not vote third party, LP, or CP. Months ago I toyed with the idea of CP for a while, but just a while. I'm a conservative Republican.
I'll be more than happy to vote for Rudy in the general.
More power to ya.
What they (social conservatives) don't understand is that if you limit the size of government, reform the tax code, and get the federal gov't out of education and such, most of these social issues would solve themselves. They're simply putting the cart before the horse.
I think Rudy is a certified leftwing wacko. A liberal politico of the first order. He would be more at home in the Democratic Party then the Republican Party.
I also do not believe that Rudy will secure the GOP nomination. That's my opinion. If somehow, Rudy did get the GOP nomination, by the time the general election rolled around, I don't see how his social liberalism will get conservatives to vote for this lefty.
I imagine that you are looking forward to a day when Giuliani might concede that he is out of the race, that he can't get the Republican nomination.
What a glorious day that will be. You will celebrate. So many will cerebrate you might think of all linking together by some global conferencing to party.
Al Sharpton will head to the Nation of Islam mosque uptown and celebrate.
There will be celebrations at the gatherings of what remains of the Mafia in NYC.
At the New York Times and the Village Voice editorials will announce the birds singing just as they did when Giuliani first lost to Dinkins.
Bill Clinton will start planning how to sneak out of Hillary's White House for a quickie. Hillary will celebrate by buying a new pants suit for her inauguration.
Across town, in fifty different languages, the UN building will shake with celebratory excitement dwarfing when they knew Bolton was gone.
Real honest to goodness Liberals and Democrats will try to hide their merriment.
In France, where they always wish America well, there will be champagne popping in the Elysee Palace
Putin will be satisfied that the next President will look into his eyes and again not recognize an a**hole.
In North Korea, they will welcome the next President they can fool.
Abbas and his gangs will make a pilgrimage to Arafat's grave, while in Hell even Arafat will enjoy a few seconds of satisfaction.
In Saudi Arabia, praise will be to Allah for the wisdom of the Infidels in defeating the one leader they know they can not buy.
It will be a great day. Real Republicans and Conservatives will make common cause with the rest of the World.
But at least we will be assured that without a Giuliani Administration, no abortions will be done in the White House basement. No gay wedding and orgies in the White House Blue Room. And the Feds won't go house to house in Texas collecting guns.
Huge celebrations all over. Excepted for just some of us few RINO's who will have regrets for America. For a great Presidency that might have been when it will most be needed.
so what happens in the future? how do you cater to a base, that can't win you the Presidency on its own, but refuses to be part of a coalition that can?
Exactly, we've tried to maintain a coalition that is conservative fiscally and socially while being strong on defense. Now Giuliani and his followers are trying to break this up.
A. Rudy is not a liberal in the 'Rat sense - he is as conservative as Reagan on the economy and as anti-Islamofascists as GWB;
B. When someone stoops to the kind low mud-slinging of irrelevant personal stuff of questionable authenticity that is solely designed to slur a candidate's character with whose issues he disagrees, well, then he is taking a page out of the Toon's book, and yes, makes him seem like a 'DU Plant' trying to sow the seeds of division.
The 'rats created this type of campaign by character assassination, and we ought not to allow anyone on our side to use such despicable tactics. We're supposed to be better than that.
That is why Calpernia is sounding like a DU plant, or at least as if he attended the Clintoon campaign planning class...
