It goes on for two whole screens.

Please take a paragraph from the editorial and point out all the problems in it.

I thought they had a forum about their editorials, but I can't find it.

"It seeks not to solve the conundrum of a broken immigration system, but to subdue, in a million ways, the vulnerable men and women who are part of it."

Yes, the system is clearly broken -- it's actually designed to jail or deport aliens that break the immigration law.

Any system that punishes criminals that will otherwise become Democratic voters is obviously broken. Can't everyone see this!!

I read the editorial on their web site. It is typical open the borders and let everybody in stuff you would expect from the MSM.

“We Are America"

The people from our ancestor's generations wanted to be America. Now, they (the illegals) want America to be Mexico, etc. A huge difference IMO.

The irony is that if they become legal, they will be promptly laid off because they will become too expensive and too much of a hassle to deal with.

They will have the skill set. But then they can demand the rights that all workers in the US have. Those same rights that make US workers "not want to do the jobs that illegals are willing to do."

"Almost a year ago, hundreds of thousands of immigrant workers and their families slipped out from the shadows of American life and walked boldly in daylight through Los Angeles, Washington, Chicago, New York and other cities."

Pinko De Mayo was so last year. The New York Times needs to understand that the silent majority in this country have a problem with an unchecked massive flow of third world illegal aliens flooding into this country on a daily basis.

But this is the New York Times. This paper jumped the shark a long, long time ago.

"Ehe nation was momentarily stunned."

I know I was. I was stunned that law enforcement didn't swoop in and arrest all ILLEGALS in attendance.

Jane, you ignorant slut! No one (except the left perhaps) has any interest in anti-immigration. To suggest so isn't just disingenuous, it is an out~and~out lie! What the right demands is someone to please enforce the laws against illegal invasion.

Nice job slimes, you managed to turn the truth on its head with each successive sentence.

"Almost a year ago, hundreds of thousands of immigrant workers..."

Sure there were some immigrants there, but just as many Illegal Aliens.

We Are America,” their banners cried.

Perhaps a few, but the ones I saw said "This is my country cholo!" and "Vive La Raza" Being American was the last thing on their minds.

"The crowds, determined but peaceful, swelled into an immense sea."

They managed to keep it (mostly) under control, but the implication of the violence to come was unmistakable.

"The nation was momentarily stunned."

More like disgusted...

They Are America

So are just about everyone in our current penal system and yet, they're behind bars for breaking the law. What makes illegal immigrants any different?
