Murtha's next step apparently is to try to deny training, equipment...to the soldiers, airmen, marines...in the field and to those who may be headed into harms way.

He will fail, but it is nice of him to try...

The Dems aren't in position to pass anything if George Bush and the Republicans don't support it. The Dems can't muster enough votes for cloture in the Senate and they don't have a 2/3s super majority in both houses necessary to override a veto. We can only hope that Mr. Bush isn't afraid to use the veto to protect the troops from the seditious communists.
