A Five-Star Hotel Room Behind Director's office By Boxun Feb 8, 2007 - 4:12:32 PM |
Leaders in China work so hard, but they have luxurious hotel rooms in their office. So they work day and night, many times with pretty girls.

This is Mr. Shi's office, who is the director of Real Estate Bureau of Changsha City. It is a common practice that government officials have luxurious bedrooms in their offices.
On Feb. 8, 2007 (Beijing Time), a group of home owners came to Mr. Shi's office to complain for not being able to claim back their property. Mr. Shi was not in his office, and the visitors were able to take these pictures.
These property owners were forced to rent their rooms/homes to others in 1950s after Communists took the power. Since 1958, the renting was managed by the government, so owners could only get part of the rent income.
After 50 years, the owners still can't claim back their property, while some of the property was developed.
Looks like good old-fashioned bourgeois decadence.
I've seen luxuriouser.
Not to worry. Someday when the Yang-Tse floods and/or the harvests fail, when the price of oil is too high to support more economic expansion, or when some latter-day Maoists seize power, you wouldn't these bozos' jobs.
Ditto on that, the room is the same as any mid-quality 100-200 rmb ($13-$36) a night room in most Chinese hotels in medium sized cities. About the only thing luxurious are the chromey bathroom fixtures.
