MITT ROMNEY TAKES ON HECKLER

You have to see how smooth Romney handles this heckler:

Unchecked bigotry, illustrated by this heckler, toward Mormons is unbelievable. If someone stood up and commented about a person's gender, race, etc., the public and media would be outraged. My guess the mainstream media lets this go unchecked.

I agree. I watched the video, and it looks planned to me. Romney probably wants to bring it up to frame it in a PC way, so that people will feel they need to support him to prove that they're not bigots. Regardless, the whole exchange was dull and unimpressive. Wow, he got a standing O from a room full of his supporters, in the face of a very slow, hesitant "heckler" making a socially unacceptable accusation.

In my eyes, Romney has "phony" written all over him. I had that impression when all I knew of him were his words in print, and seeing him speak just puts the nail in the coffin.

Flog your blog and you'll go blind...

Maybe he could do it until he just needs glasses. :)

His Wife's interview about her MS is very impressive !

I would bet she's not HALF as impressive as Vice President Cheney's wife (I believe her name is Lynne?).

I'd like to see HER run for high office, maybe even President.

She'd give the liberal demonRATS and the liberal RINOs a run for their money, and likely DESTROY them.

The correct answer is: The guy is an idiot and a plant.

Who's to say?

But, I wouldn't rule it out.

romney SEEMS a little too SLICK, ala bill clinton, to me.

I don't yet know enough about him to trust him, support him, or vote for him.

Why take the time to try and FIGURE OUT a man like romney, ESPECIALLY when there are MUCH better men out there that leave NO DOUBT as to what they are all about?

Wouldn't it make better sense to support and promote men whose words and deeds have stayed true to our CONSERVATIVE ideals for MOST, if not, ALL of their lives?

Likewise, why should we wait BREATHLESSLY for RINO-rudy to CHANGE his position on an issue we consider an important CONSERVATIVE CORE-issue? Trying to morph one's LIBERAL opinion/view, into a LAST MINUTE, pre-election CONSERVATIVE opinion/view, is OUTRAGEOUSLY DISINGENUOUS, and if he DOES try it, it should be summarily discounted by all intelligent, informed (read that CONSERVATIVE) voters.

Why not put ALL of our support behind a known TRUE CONSERVATIVE like Hunter, or one of the others with their hats in the ring?

Just say NO to liberal RINOs and unknown clintonesque SLICKSTERS.

...the pay-per-click industry is growing. There's simply too much demand and it's still much more cost effective than the alternatives. Until that changes, it will continue to grow in spite of the fraud. I don't think any bloggers are making a profit off blogging, except maybe the really big ones with enough traffic to really matter. The problem is that to make any real money you need to be a full-time blogger, but since you probably will not break $30k annual, for most people intelligent enough to run such a blog, it would be much worse pay than a job.

In all honestly the google ads on the site are a joke. Half the time I am filtering anti-mormon content. Not to mention that the ads don't pay worth a darn (less than $10.00 in two weeks). In fact in the few weeks that I added them to the site, the clicks have been so low that I wonder if it is even worth having them on the site. I kind of think they cheapen the site.

It doesn't matter how many 'one sentences' are uttered.

The David Koresh wing of the evangelicals already know it all. They won't listen.

Remember Willie Green? You can tell him some basic common sense 10 times completely refuting him, yet the very next sentence he starts all over again.

If someone has an honest question about Mormons, thats fine. Ask away, there are plenty of knowlegeable people who can assist.

Most of these questions aren't honest questions though.

They are taking their own cult and using it to call someone else one.

Really the heckler made an ass of himself. All things considered he was probably an ass before he went in there, and merely publicly exposed himself as one when he opened his ignorant mouth.

As far as the reaction by the crowd to the heckler (loud booing) and the crowd's reaction to Mitt's response (standing ovation), it was very gratifying to witness and what I've been predicting. Americans are very likely to mount a fierce backlash against any person or group attempting to turn our U.S. elections into a religious jihad involving foolish and hurtful assertions that "our Jesus is better than their Jesus". I think we saw a good example of that predictable backlash in this video.

BUMP!!!!

Nope. This guy who was heckling is a prime example of a spokesperson for the Evangelical nutjob so called right wing.

I hope you like that spokesman because there are quite a few others out there just like him. Lets just see if the public likes him.

Politically speaking, unless you like the embarrassment created by this nutbar, the evangelical crowd might want to distance themselves from his type.

"But the Mormons do take Christ as their Lord and Saviour, God's Son, so what's the problem?"

They do not believe as Christians, They believe that Jesus was just a man as you. They believe that Jesus and his Father live on the planet KOLOB. They believe that they will be gods when they die. They do not believe in the Trinity. There is such a long list that I will stop here.

What other Christian faith believes this? One question, Name one Christian faith that is preaching this, other than the Mormons?

They are not Christians no matter what they say. No other Christian faith is even close to the Mormons. They are Mormons not Christians.

Trash.

You never have been in the middle of an LDS sacrament meeting when 'evangelicals' sitting in the audience stand up and scream and shout and interrupt the whole meeting.

It happened down here where I'm at and all the perps ended up in jail for their own religious lunacy.

This is common hatred spewed by 'the religious right'.

Me, personally I know better, because my community is full of Methodists, Baptists, Catholics, etc.

The worst thing we got going on is the competition at basketball in the local Baptist Church. Sometimes it extends to men's softball too.

This looney relgious type needs be shut up by the ones they proclaim to belong to.

In this post you have good examples, and you have bad examples. Hopefully the good examples win out.

You have no evidence. And based on my personal experience, this is common to have so called 'evangelicals' to act this way.

The difference is, previously its not been put on TV.

These guys are an embarrassment to their own community.
