Rep. Peter King, the Long Island Re publican, got it exactly right yester day.
"Never before in our history has Congress attempted to control or restrict strategic battlefield decisions. It is wrong as a matter of policy, and it will haunt us for years to come," said King - as the House of Representatives dishonored itself with a non-binding resolution expressing disapproval of President Bush's strategic plan for Iraq.

that's > History.
(don't post when your so mad SeaBiscuit)
The no-binding resolution was the greatest act od cowardice and treason I have seen in a life time.
The Democrats know they cannot wint the election in 2008 if we win the war in Iraq. Therefore they do everyting intheir power to ensure defeat. One Numbnut--Waxman--in fact stated we are already defeated, I bet our military people fighting for us loved that one.
They voted for defeat yesterday,by pasing this resolution because they lacked the courage to vote for us to leave now. Demcrats know that if we leave the situation will be disastrous, but they havent the copurage to accept the consequences of a vote forcing us to leave. So they pass this joke of a resolutio, Now if we stay and lose they will say"I told you so". If we win they will say,we did because they didnt force us to leave. Its a cowardly vote .
I am ashamed to to watch these criminally treasonous anti-Americans in the Congress.
One dipwad Democrat got up and made a big scene of how Republicans accused the Democrat of a lack of Patriotism. and a Republican got up to answer. Well the republicans answer didnt suit me. so here is my answer.
Youre damend right you are unpatriotic, You are traitors. You should be innjail not in Congress. You are aiding and comforting the enemy and contributing to bad morale for our soldiers and with Gods help we will vote your ass out on the street in 2008 and put Americans in your place.
The 18 have to go. I could care less about their motivation. Allowing Nancey to say bipartisan is the greatest slap in the face ever. I for one am outraged.
There. All fixed.

This one wants to be president and is supported by some "No RINO Freepers. Remember that when you see their posts.
Ultimately, the fault resides with us. We, The People, let this happen and we will pay the price.
Sometimes, I still have hope, but it's fading fast.
This worthless and disgraceful resolution spits in the face of every American serviceman defending our country.
What a shameful thing to do.
Why not call it what Rush says, "The Embolding the Enemy Act." Cowards...
Just who were the two brave democrats allowed to vote nay?
I kinda like Lincoln's version of the Patriot Act of 1861.
Watch that first step Teddy, Nancy, and Murtha...
It's a bad one!
DEMS who voted NAY:
Jim Marshall - GA-08
Gene Taylor - MS-04
God bless them.
Abe Lincoln opposedthe Mexican War and lost his house seat over it.
bump for later
I'll be sending a white surrender flag to ron paul today. That idiot disgusts me.
LOL. I had to quit posting last night for the same reason.
Tagline change
Had the President stopped kissing up to the left for 6 years and stopped giving his conservative base the continuous middle finger salute during that time, he would have kept his Republican majority in both houses and avoided this mess.
I hope President Bush is enjoying his Compasionate Conservatism.
Remember the saying, "The buck stops here."
