Sam Johnson is a real man. GOD bless him.
Excellent speech.
It is unsettling to be at war in a time when patriotism is a form of dissent.
Murtha can put that in his peace pipe and smoke it.
A real American hero!
And then left still doesn't get it.
God Bless this Hero and all of America's Heroes.
Amen!
Murtha is one of the most disgusting excuses for a human I've yet seen, but I'm sure he is a bonafide hero to al Queda and other islamic terrorists around the world. Perhaps they'll spare him from their next attack.
What an awesome speech he presented. God bless him.
Our captors would blare nasty recordings over the loud speaker of Americans protesting back home tales of Americans spitting on Vietnam veterans when they came home... and worse.
We must never, ever let that happen again.
The pain inflicted by your countrys indifference is tenfold that inflicted by your ruthless captors.
As a nation, we are not worthy of the military which protects us. We are truly despicable.
Sam Johnson ping!
..a great man and an American hero
God Bless this man
Hopefully we can find the video of Rep. Johnson's speech. A truly moving experience. God bless you Sam Johnson. **==
God Bless you Sam Johnson!
As I was not a POW, I was "in country" while all this was going on back home and I can in no way associate to the pain the POW's felt. However, fighting a war for a nation that not only doesn't support "the mission", but for the great part opposes it and the men fighting it, is a pain I have never gotten over. To this day, even as a recovering alcoholic and born again Christian, I have to work daily to overcome the resentments long held against those who cut the legs from under us and our brave POW's. Perhaps that is why it is so much more painful to see it happening, yet again.
And yet within weeks of 911, that gnawing feeling of deja vu all over again began to creep in. When will we learn, if ever, that we will eventually have to devote all we have and more to defeat the insidious enemies we are facing, both abroad and yes, now, even at home?
"America ... Where are you now?"

Wow.
I am soooo proud this man is my congressman! :*)
I salute his wonderful patriotism and loyalty to our troops. God bless you, Sam Johnson! And God bless our troops and their Commander in Chief!
Those who heard him, yet cast their votes for this non-binding traitorous piece of trash resolution, must have hearts of stone.
