GUADALAJARA, Mexico A federal court has cleared the way for TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman to be extradited to face charges in Mexico, court officials said.
Norma Jara, a spokeswoman for the second district court in Guadalajara, said the court rejected Chapman's injunction request, ruling there was no reason not to try him with the charge of deprivation of liberty of Mexico.
"We only just heard about the Mexican court's decision to continue with the extradition proceedings, and are still in shock," Chapman and his wife, Beth, said in a statement issued Thursday night in Honolulu.

Setting aside the fact that you just contradicted yourself (if we have treaties, then it *is* "recognized"), I find the argument that "the corrupt officials Dog bribed should have stayed bought" unconvincing.
Many illegal immigrants come to our country because they know that the system will wink at them: does it makes them any less criminals?
Why does that not surpise me?
I hope she comes back; the question isn't really that hard.
Dog is a joke and so is his TV program.
But at least the man has cleaned up his act and is providing for his family.
I wish him the best.
A tip for The Dog!
One should not take pepper-spray to a gun or knife fight!
That was a completely incoherent post.
Dog is a joke and so is his TV program.
No explanation needed
But at least the man has cleaned up his act and is providing for his family.
Dog is out of prison himself and clean & sober
Ever wonder why Dog doesn't carry a hand-gun?
I wish him the best.
I think Dog's a good Christian, but his macho act is silly and stupid
A tip for The Dog!
One should not take pepper-spray to a gun or knife fight!
Excellent Advise, don't ya think?
-Your Welcome-
Okay, got you down as one of the resident cranks on the forum. got it.
Sorry, but I don't buy your contention....not at all.
Ohhhh....I get it...your name is Jose.
;-)
Tolerance =greatest virtue ....Your tag line.
As radical muslims try to kill me and you & every infidel on earth?
As radical liberal democrats try to screw up The America you and I love?
Thank you all the same but I will not tolerate radical muslims nor liberal democrats
Excuse me ..... When you personally know me then you get the right to call me crazy. It would be a good idea to back away before I insult you, which I did not. I can see you really don't care a rapist , horrible, disgusting, vile man was caught. Nor the fact that criminals are paying off the Mexican corrupt govt to hide out there. Have a nice day...~~Pandora~~
lmao ping
Once he gets here we can just say "nanny-nanny-boo-boo, we got him and will fry him."
Of course, then they may never extradite ANYONE to us again since we don't live up to our word, but it stinks to have somebody like that live.
Well, the creep won't have much of a life. He'll have enough time on his hands to learn English, though.
latest as of 4/5/07 Dog’s case is now in front of the Mexican appeals court and according to an interview during Greta Vansustren’s (check spelling, the only person bringing charges against him is the lowlife he caught! It’s looking better for Dog.Sic’em!!!
Thanks for the update. I have been away where I keep my trailer & theres no TV, no FR and no phone so I am more or less clueless until I read FR again. Happy Easter ~P~
I hope he wins appeal.
I saw the interview on ‘On the Record’ ...
You keep saying that, so he deserves death in your opinion?
You're not the only one... However, I'd like to remind you that he DID bring back a convicted serial rapist, who's now in prison in the US, from his protected life of freedom in Mexico. Say what you will, he did "bring back his man." And once he's in Mexico, his life will be forfeit. This is a travesty, along with Campian and Ramos (sp?) and the Texas Sheriff who's in jail. There's something seriously wrong with our so called "justice department."
