I know for sure that the University of Texas at Austin has a whole course on teaching Mexicans that the whole of the SW United States, from Texas through southern California, rightfully belongs to them. They are teaching them how to "take it back". There's a Mexican word for this movement, but it escapes me at the moment.

This will happen waaaaaaayyy before your grandchildren's future. This will happen within the next 10 yrs.
I have watched towns and cities destroyed by illegals and legal Mexicans, mostly anchor babies, in the last 10 yrs where I live.

Where do you live? Texas? California? Nuevo Mexico?

Since the invasion of Mexico illegally into the US, we are already being subjected to crime and violence. If a purposeful movement is behind the violence, things will just keep deteriorating. I wonder if it is all too late?

As I recall with the treaty of Guadaloupe Hidalgo - we purchased the land from Mexico. That's a dim memory from history class...
IN any case,it is well known that groups like La Raza and Mecha are racing, violent and treasonous.
They are taking over huge swaths of the SW United States - and aleady throughout the rest of the country by re-populating it.
Between them and the influx of Islam - I don't think we have much of a chance.
Other immigrants came here by the millions, but their intent was not to subvert - or change - the country. Their intent was to assimulate.
Not so with the Hispanic immigration and the Islamic immigration.
Say goodbye, America.

the return of the American west to the mythical Aztlan from which they believe their land was stolen.
That is one tiresome lie. When American soldiers arrived in those states at the start of the Mexican American war they found scattered Mexicans who had been dumped here as placeholders and forgotten by the Mexican government. They felt no loyalty toward Mexico and overwhelmingly switched allegiance to America in return for protection and relative peace with the indians.
For that matter, American soldiers encountered very little resistance throughout much of what is current day Mexico. The lying idiots claiming a right of return should consider themselves lucky that Mexico's northern border isn't somewhere in the vicinity of Mexico City.
