The generation that has the power to make a difference are too busy upgrading their already overpriced homes with granite counter-tops and hardwood floors.

Actually, the generation that has made this NWO decision is actually the preceding generation -- the last holdovers of the WWII generation (Bush 41) and the "war babies" and "depression babies" (people born from 1930 to 1945, like Dick Cheney in 1941) who worked for them.

The deal was fixed by the time the Boomers got any stroke, Bill Gates and Michael Dell excepted.

There is still a hell of a lot of power in the hands of people like Warren Buffett and people of his cohort. Look at Ted Kennedy -- he's been a senator for what, 30 years?

Neither Newt Gingrich nor Nancy Pelosi is a Boomer -- both are "war babies", Newt born in 1943, Pelosi in 1940. Harry Reid is older than either. John Kerry's a "war baby", too -- 1943. Bill Bennett, Richard Perle, John Ashcroft -- all "war babies". Not a Boomer in the bunch.

You gotta love the charge of "deprivation of liberty."

Isn't that what the gov of Mexico does everyday?

I just heard last night from a Border Patrol spokesman that 1 out of every 3 illegals captured at the border are already wanted on a crime in the U.S.

Just doing the crimes Americans are unwilling to do.

This is just part of the following . . . .

Hey, AD, did this cross your desk? I didn't see it at the CFR.

You are right, he did talk to mexican police to let them know what he was doing and that he was going to grab Luster. Typical mexican BS. Not to mention that a judge ruled that Dog couldn't receive any of the reward money for capturing Luster because he did break a law in Mexico to get him. I love the ju$tice $y$tem.

My kiddos love the Dog. They actually arrest our dog with their nerf guns sometimes.

I don't think he talked to the Mexican police. Bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico, who would go tell the cops they're going to do something illegal, even Mexican cops have some pride.

I thought the mexican govt had decided to suspend extradition at this time?

No, I watched the video of it. It shows he and his son and Tim outside the nightclub. Tim, I think goes in to ID Luster and comes out. There was a mexicali nearby and he went over and told him that he was going on so if there was a commotion the mexicali wouldn't come up with guns drawn. It was on the A & E show about 2-3 weeks ago. Year of the Dog was the name of the show and it went over the Luster fiasco.

It also showed the Dog and Beth were told by their mexican attorney that his charge is a misdemeanor and that they should just go back to the US as mexico wouldn't pursue something so trivial. Now it appears they are making an example of him. iirc, Duane believes that the US is offering him up so they can get their hands on some drug king pins.

"...even Mexican cops have some pride."

Which they're perfectly willing to swallow if seasoned with enough cash.

As to the extradition... I'm not Dog's biggest fan, but extraditing him to Mexico given that country's lack of cooperation on illegal immigration is a travesty.

Well so much for their sense of pride. But it's still illegal in Mexico and that doesn't go away because some cop near the nightclub decided they didn't care.

I think the problem came in when Dog leveraged that to become famous. Getting famous for breaking the law in a country isn't likely to make that country happy with your continued freedom.

Alberto Gonzales is an enemy of America. I call on Congressmen Tancredo, Rohrbacher and Hunter to immediate start impeachment proceedings in the House against this vile creature. Once he is impeached and removed from office, Gonzales should be deported to Mexico, the land of his true masters. He is easily the worst Attorney General in U.S. history.

While there is a ring of silliness about it "we should ignore their laws because they're ignoring ours" does have a certain kindergarten pettiness that really shouldn't be part of foreign policy.

So, theoretically, we could export all our death row convicts to Mexico and they would refuse to allow them to come back. Seems like a win win situation.

I think they'd only stop us from forcing them to return...if they wanted to return illegally it appears the Mexican government would assist, with pamphlets on how to get across the boarder at a minimum.

I understand, and normally I would agree. And I also agree that no one is above the law; not even a bounty hunter (and neither am I sure that a convicted felon should be given a front-line job in law enforcement, but that's another issue entirely). I'm just so P.O'd at the Mexicans right now (and at Bush, et al) that I've taken a "screw 'em" position on this.

It's illegal and a misdemeanor, their attorney said to leave because it was so trivial, it wouldn't be pursued. They are clearly making an example out of him. From what I have heard from people who travel to mexico is that if you are in a car accident, don't stop, get back to the US pronto.

It also makes me sick that our country seems to kowtow to mexican demands all the time while their illegal citizens that number in the 10's of millions here are bankrupting our hospital systems and raising insurance rates for health, auto etc for all Americans.

Bounty hunter Daniel Kear was extradited to Canada on kidnapping charges related to one of his bounties, convicted too. We extradite a lot of people to other countries, it just doesn't get a lot of coverage because most of them don't have TV shows.

As I recall, the issue with Luster was that he was eligible for the death penalty.

Not true. Luster killed no one. He drugged, raped and assaulted dozens of women and taped the attacks.
