The Dixie Chicks were featured today on Democarcy Now. They showed segments of the new Dixie Chicks documentary, "Shut up and sing."
FreeRepublic is prominently mentioned in the documentary as the prime source of all the Dixie Chicks problems. They, themselves, of course had nothing to do with the problem. Natalie said that she did not mean anything political when she made her infamous remarks in London. She said she did it to get a laugh.

They are Braindead Bimbos, nothing more, no disrespect intended to Bimbos. Pandering to an audience enveloped in ignorance and content to be so.

So, who are the Dixie Chicks to criticize FreeRepublic.com?
Obviously, they cannot discern what is pro-American and what is not.

Could care less what these people think, sing, say.
If they want to obsess over themselves and how important they think they are who am I to stop them?

Yep, absolutley right. Let narcisists be narcisists. They're better things to do with one's time than pay heed to the celebrity critters.

Let this be a lesson to liberal trash everywhere. Free Republic controls all music sales and radio station play lists. Soon we will control all product sales throughout the world.

Not OUR troops! Let 'em entertain the al Qaeda terrorists and the Iranian-backed insurgents, THEY would appreciate that kind of entertainment, just before they gave 'em the Nick Berg treatment.

She disrespected the President of the U.S. on foreign soil just to get a laugh? OK, Nat, so why did you say all that total crap about patriotism and such things? Another attempt to get a laugh? You might be a singer, but you're no comedienne!
