I think Rudy is the man. Don't care about his social beliefs

You and plenty of other so-called conservatives. On another thread FReeper afronaut put it very clearly:

As the skin of the onion is slowly peeled away, we start to see that the St. Rudy supporters are not just backing him because he is the “only hope of winning”, but they are starting to reveal that they are in agreement with a large percentage of his liberal social views. (if not all)

This is the real split that's coming for the Republican party. If it turns out that a majority or even a large enough percentage of Republicans truly are social liberals then obviously something's going to break.

Abortion is evil. We cannot survive as a party that is half for and half against evil.

Alrighty then, lets all get behind a little known genuine conservative who Hillary can walk all over on the way to the WH, to then be able to appoint liberal justices to solidify the liberal agenda across all walks of life in this country. You're chargin' sounds like a real train wreck in the making to me.
