Thank you for being forthright and a grown-up about this. That is what we need. I suspect many of these "Rudy NEVER" people really just support other candidates for the nomination and are stirring the pot.
No, there's no need for any of you to make vehement denials of same, we've heard it all before many, many times.
I do hope you are right.
What I am hearing on FR is what I couldn't believe would happen in 2006. They stayed home and let the Dims take over the Senate and the House. Am beginning to believe that many will stay home in 2008, if they don't get their way, and let the Dims take the Presidency too. At this point in time I am not sure who will be my choice of candidates in the primary election. Will make that decision somewhere along the line. I will not ask anyone to support my choice. Nor, will I ask anyone to sell out their beliefs. My religious beliefs and my political convictions are as strongly conservative as anyone's and I have held them for many more years than some on FR have been alive. All I am purposing to everyone is to work for their candidate of choice in the primary and then get behind the candidate that is chosen by the primary voters. Many seem to be unwilling to accept that and will only be satisfied and committed to voting if they get their way. Hopefully the majority of them will get the candidate they want. I may not get my choice but will support the Republican candidate that is chosen.
Anyone on FR that is unwilling to support the Republican candidate for President in 2008 and feel that they just can't go vote I ask this of you. At least start a prayer group. Because if Hillary is allowed to take over the Presidency, this country and all of us are going to need all the prayers we can get. I'm not being sarcastic. I am dead serious.
