A full 1/3 of so called SOCONS voted rat in 2006. If they cant be counted on why bother appeasing them? Besides if they voted rat, then obviously there convictions are meaningless.

Actually they are represented in these poll numbers.
If they are a strong as many would claim, perhaps the polls would reflect different results.
