Posting an article from over 7 years ago, wow! Gotta reach far there. Why are you not posting articles about Hillary Clinton? Unless you have an agenda and want her to win.

The man's been completely out of politics for more than five years. All there is to go on is what he did as mayor, most of which happened in the 90s.

"Posting an article from over 7 years ago, wow! Gotta reach far there." So when you credit Rudy for his "heroism" (which is yet to really be defined specifically) that is okay for you? Just what is the dividing line for dates? This article ties Rudy and his campaign then to organized crime. That says something about character, no matter how old. A leopard cannot change its spots.

Actually its a mystery how the right wing totally disappeared after 1992/4.. starting to notice in 1999, and now in 2007 its painfully obvious an organized right wing is non-existant in the United States...
How could this have happened.?. The implications of this are enormous...

I had the same thought. Breaking news from 1999!
Mind you, this still is *A* legitimate issue -- as are Rudy's liberal positions on guns, abortion, the border and global warming. Rudy's hired some unethical slobs (Kerik). All of that is going to be blasted at him by Hillary or whoever the Dem nominee is, so it needs to be "aired" now, in a sense.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. This article is ancient.

Seven years or not, when I get to the phrase "... Hungarian mobster Semion Mogilevich" the thing loses credibility. That is the most un-Magyar name that I have ever seen in print.
The more modern story of Giuliani is that he has tireless campaigned for R-candidates. He has credibility that others lack when it comes to the WOT. When the next big attack comes to America, will the White House staff study it for a few months to the point where all the key players scatter like rats into a remote countryside? Or will the next president make an immediate (within hours) proportionate response, like taking out a defense ministry. There is no need to destroy infrastructure when the problem is foreign leadership violently opposed to American interests. The question is: which grand-standing hack will come to that realization most quickly?
