...Mr. Harrison had been thinking about getting in touch since reading in an article in The New York Times 15 months ago that two teenagers whose mothers had used his sperm to conceive were looking for him. The headline, Hello, Im Your Sister, Our Father Is Donor 150, made him choke on his coffee, said Mr. Harrison, who made $400 a month donating sperm under that number twice-weekly during the late 1980s.
...Once one of the sperm banks most-requested donors, with a profile that described him as 6 foot and blue-eyed with interests in philosophy, music and drama, Mr. Harrison, 50, lives with his four dogs in a recreational vehicle near the Venice section of Los Angeles.
I make a meager living, Mr. Harrison said, taking care of dogs and doing other odd jobs.
Still, he said he thought he could explain to the girls why he had taken an unconventional life-path. Their grandfather was an Ivy League-educated retired financial executive, he would tell them; their grandmother was a former volunteer president for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

LOL! I was noticing that. And it seems oddly muscular.
Huh? -- "I got to talk to his dogs."
On closer inspection, it almost looks like his hand is burned and he's missing his fingers at the last knuckle.
Which answers the age old question, "Do you smoke after sex?"
Still, he was able to turn his hobby into a career.
From the look of his left hand, he may be able to file for worker's comp for job induced carpal tunnel.
The prodigal son (father?) has been with us forever, more often freeborn into wealth or position than not.
LOL!!!
Serves them right!
Venice (California) is a man-made canal area, an immigrant's dream; look up the history, it's rather fascinating.
Is he blind?
LOL, my first thought was OMG, he looks just like Alan Colmes...poor girls.
Since this guy has no job, and apparently no assets to speak of, he isn't worried about being sued for support or inheritance rights. Other donors should think twice.
I was wondering just how much hair he had on his PALMS!
later,ldf
ROFL. He was a real artisan of the craft.
He was very qualified in that he could donate with either hand; hence, he must have been ambidextrous!
Interestingly, there'd probably be a lot of people around here making money as they Freeped away. Come to think of it, that'd be a nice way to end those Freep-a-thons.
I'm not sure if he's blind, but I understand he knitted the sweater after shaving his palms every month.
Look at the guy's left hand.
Looks like he really worked it a lot.
Someone oughta Photoshop that shot. LOL.
But he said he was 6' tall and blonde.
Can you lie on your donor card?
You can lie on match.com but it seems unethical to lie to the sperm bank.
A couple of other people mentioned that, too. LOL.
