Destroying the oil pipelines is bad for the world. If we do that, it would be years, possibly decades before oil production would return to it's current level. If the Iranian gov't falls, what will be the new gov'ts export? Oil. That would be shooting yourself in the foot before the race even started.

I guess my next question then, is instead of blowing up piplelines, perhaps "cutting them off" at a certain point.
Do pipleines hae safety valves or some kind of mechanism to shut off the flow at certain places in emergency situations?
The bottom line that I'm getting at is to come up with a way to prevent Iran from exporting until there is a regime change.
