Glad to see some fervor! Good deal. ;o)
The deal with vouchers is the government can still attach strings.
The best situation would be tax credits for people who homeschool, at least according to the Home School Legal Defense Association.

THAT would be the IDEAL.
I know I am sick and tired of paying for a PUBLIC school when ours goes to a PRIVATE school (very conervative).

THAT would be the IDEAL - for THOSE WHO HOMESCHOOL.
BUT those like us who privates school to get away from public school debauchery - also need RELIEF. Give Private and Home schoolers tax credits. Then it would be fair.

I'd also like to see those WITHOUT children or RETIRED NOT pay money for education. WHY should they? They are NOT benefiting from our current government schools? Those homeschooling or private schooling SHOULD get TAX CREDITS to do as they deem fit. If public schools shut down, so be it. If their good, they won't shut down. If they are NOT, then they should shut down. That's how I see it. Kids deserve the best - out current tyrannical tax system to support substandard schooling with depravity snuck in as part of the curriculum, in NOT acceptable.
