. . . and, without mentioning President Bush by name, offered pointed criticism on how the Iraq war has been handled . . . He said that the United States went to war with far too few forces and was wrong to dismantle Saddam Husseins military and government, and he conceded that if more information had been available about Iraqs weapons, Congress never would have approved the war.

And he isn't going to run.

It's Judy Ruliani, Hillary in a dress.
Caught myself actually pulling for Duke last night. Great win!
You left out unborn babies. Just want your list of those who Rudy has taken out to be complete.
...and he conceded that if more information had been available about Iraqs weapons, Congress never would have approved the war.
So now it comes out that he is weak on his only conservative issue.
I am so sick of having this Duncan Hunter shoved down our throats. There's got to be a great Reagan conservative out there. Because this guy just doesn't do it for me.
Oh. Good. Grief.
This is a classic case of "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with."
The NYT is the diary of Satan...unless they're criticizing the front runner. Then they speak the gospel.
On any other NYT article you can find dozens, maybe hundreds of FReepers talking about how they can't be trusted.
But if they further your agenda...

I'd consider the source first :)
....and, without mentioning President Bush by name...
Snort.
Contradict yourself...
You are a liberal shilling for a liberal.
Turning the general election into a second Democrat primary is not a winning strategy.
Is this what people really want for a POTUS? A double-talker? A snake oil salesman? A Carnival hawker? Someone who'll make up his mind as he goes along? Just a go along to get along rhetorical mantra.
Isn't that the mark of a great leader?/s
George Will gets his paycheck from the leftist media establishment.
"This Week" with George Stephanopolus???
Yes, and if you can't figure that out by now God help YOU. Rudy is liberal on many important issues to people and when you can't figure out those social, 2nd Amendment issues are substantial and non negotiable you've got a problem in what you are trying to push us towards. And how will Rudy be with a Demonrat Congress? He has endorsed many Demonrats in the past, endorsed Bill Clintoon in '96. What are you thinking that this will be alright with many people? Rudy is a sure loss.
He's not being 'shoved down your throat'. Simply avoid the Hunter threads if you don't care to support him! What is so hard about that with you people? You might not like him but plenty of others are beginning to!
And imagine Rudy with a Demonrat Congress. God help us.
Okay. I'm definitely off the Guiliani bus. I won't vote for him if he DOES get the nomination.
I have issues with how the war was done, but mostly its about RoEs, and leaving too many survivors from the Iraqi army, esp. the Republilcan Guard and Feydaheen.
To be fair, you never got on.
'fess up. You never read the books. Did you?
