I really don't understand why Romney's faith is a problem. It's not like he's one of those nuts who has six wives and 34 children.
Romney seems perfectly capable. Great resume. Self-made multi-millionaire. Pulled the 2002 Winter Olympics out of the toilet. Pulled the Massachusetts economy out of the toilet.
But I don't understand why all the media long knives are aimed at him when he's never polled double digits in any national poll. Is there something more to him that they're really worried about? If so, it speaks in his favor.
He's a nice guy, but it might be a problem if he tried to run for President . . . can you imagine how many Air Force Ones you'd need?

What if he was muslim?
Many people are put off by some of the unusual and strange customs that are said to be part of Mormonism. The religion is very secretive and it leaves the outsiders to gain their information from books like, Shot through the Heart, and news stories like the Smart kidnapping. People don't understand that the kidnapper was not a regular LDS, they just know what they read and hear, and the press is never kind to Mormons.
Actually isn't Mitt the only Republican front runner who hasn't had more than one wife? McCain and Guiliani have both had highly publicized divorces and remarriages.
