Paging all conservatives, the phoney and fraud known as Rudy Giuliani to appear on Larry King soon.

Oh goody! I can't wait to dissect what he says and skewer him tomorrow.

You know, once I read that, I do remember that now! My memory is not terribly good :-)

Rudy is absolutely fearless.

It sounds and looks more and more like DU or Kos around here, doesn't it? It's so sad to see.

But now I can see why Reagan talked about the extreme right with a little distaste.

One reason I don't post as much.....seems like ever since the Terri Schiavo threads a couple years ago....many moderates or plain spoken folk left and it became hijacked by many intolerant and name calling yahoos.....too bad

I live in New York. There were no tax cuts. Taxes and tolls went up while he was the mayor. Went out of his way to support Bill Clinton. There is still organized crime in NYC. Had a chance to defeat Hillary but bailed. Is completely pro illegal invader. Pro abortion, pro gay marriage. I like Rudy. But he is a liberal democrat. He admitted he became a Republican to get elected.

If you can say Rudy's support of Lazio was at best lukewarm you are not being honest. I know he had cancer but he could have stayed in the race. As far as the NYS Republican party, they might as well be democrats.

....I admire your passion, but Rudy supporters here have linked other facts that would disagree with the tax part. I try and look at all sides....I know his limitations, however, George Will and Ronald Reagan seemed to like the man....so I'll reserve judgment for awhile....

LMAO. This post couldn't be more ironic if you tried.

First you call real conservatives names and then you criticize us for being too "intolerant." Of course I'm intolerant of abortion, gay marriage, and gun grabbers (in other words, RINOs like Rudy). Why I should have to defend that on a conservative site is what is so very sad.

.....haha....well you took it personally did you not?.. I didn't call conservatives names, I called some on the extreme right intolerant.....did you take that to mean "you"....lol....and many have said the same thing...if you notice on many threads....the name calling as such usually starts with those threatened by others here who have a differing opinion that doesn't march in lockstep with what they consider mainstream conservatism.... and who are you referring to as "us"?......

.....many on FR have noticed the same thing and feel they have been hijacked....I've been a Repub since 1975 and from time to time, I differ with the party....that does not make me a RINO or traitor or POS which is thrown around here much too often......

"intolerant" is a name and comparing real conservatives to people on KOS is just plain idiotic. And you defend the name calling by saying "they started it!"

Assuming that Rudy does get the nomination, I will be the one who will defect from the GOP, so don't get me started about not marching in lockstep with the party.

I'm comparing people who call names, are intolerant and think they are the only ones right on the planet and everyone else is a RINO, traitor or POS to people on Du or Kos.....I'm comparing their behavior, not their political views.....if you read the posts....the name calling starts with those from the far right....happens everytime...and you have every right to defect....I for one will not pick up my toys and go home......not if it means a Democrat will win the election with even worse credentials.....the telling part about this is that you took this personally.. that is curious...

Yes, I took it personally that, because I don't like Rudy, I belong on DU. It's demoralizing to have to defend conservative values on a CONSERVATIVE website.

Do you want to psychoanalyze this post too?

of course not....I don't need to....but you are barking up the wrong tree....I didn't say anyone who disliked Rudy is from KOS or DU....again.....I repeat, again, it was all about name calling and intolerance...it has NOTHING to do with who you are voting for and everything to do about behavior....I'm not sure why you are not getting it....Rudy has nothing to do with it per se......

Poll
Shows Clinton, Obama Gaining and McCain, Giuliani Dropping

Des
Moines, IA (LifeNews.com) -- A new poll of likely caucus-goers in
Iowa finds pro-abortion Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama gaining
among Democrats and Sen. John McCain and pro-abortion former New York
City Mayor Rudy Giuliani dropping among Republicans. On
the GOP side, Giuliani fell from 28 to 27 percent from a December to late
January American Research Group poll and McCain dropped from 26 to 22
percent. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who recently converted
to the pro-life position, appeared to be the recipient of those supporters
as he moved up from 6 percent to 11 percent in the poll. Support for former
Speaker Newt Gingrich dropped from 18 to 16 percent, as he continues to
appear likely not to run for president. Looking at Democrats, Clinton
went from 31 to 35 percent in the late January poll. Former North Carolina
Sen. John Edwards dropped from 20 to 18 percent while Obama rose to 14
percent from 10 percent in the December survey.
