Must be a democrat... because REPUBLICAN isn't in bold flashing headlines..
/semi-sarc
No party affiliation given, so would I be correct in assuming that he's a Democrat?
....and the former lawmaker's political party is....?

McDADE, Joseph Michael, a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pa., September 29, 1931; attended St. Pauls School and Scranton Preparatory School; graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1953; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania, 1956; served clerkship in office of Chief Federal Judge John W. Murphy, Middle District of Pennsylvania; engaged in the general practice of law in 1957; city solicitor of the city of Scranton in 1962; elected as a Republican to the Eighty-eighth and to the seventeen succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1963-January 3, 1999); was not a candidate for reelection in 1998 to the One Hundred Sixth Congress.
Wow!
He's actually a Republican, but at his age (76) it could well be dementia. Not sure.
WikiPedia says he was a Republican.
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
McDade was a Pennsylvania RINO in the Spector mold.
He was indicted on Bribery charges back in 1992.
Florida.....case of Glo-Ball Warming.
The man is 76 years old. Who cares if he exposed himself. Just charge him with assault with a dead weapon and get on with it.
Or he has an overactive bladder and the line to the bathroom was too long, so he decided to go behind a building and was seen.
We'll have to wait for more details about what happened.
Could be interesting, but I doubt it.
Same district as Don Sherwood....
"Same district as Don Sherwood.... "
The man is 76! When you gotta go, you gotta go, now! If all the old guy did was pee on a tree, this is all a waste of time and money. I'm 12 years younger, but tellyawhat, don't get in my way if you don't want run over!
76? Depends, I guess.
SANIBEL -- A former Pennsylvania congressman was accused Wednesday of exposing himself to two women at a beach resort, court records show.
Former U.S. Rep. Joseph M. McDade, R-Pa., 75, must appear in Lee County court to face a charge of exposure of sexual organs, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum penalty of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine, according to a summons issued Wednesday.
A date for the court appearance has not been set.
Both the State Attorney's Office and the Sanibel Police Department declined Wednesday to discuss details of the case, citing an ongoing investigation.
According to the summons, on Jan. 18 McDade ``did unlawfully expose or exhibit his sexual organs in a public place ... in a vulgar or indecent manner, or did go naked in public.''
Sanibel Police Chief William Tomlinson said two women identified McDade as ``someone who perpetrated lewd behavior. Based on their statements, it was intentional lewd behavior.'' The chief said the incident happened between the beach and a local resort, which he declined to name.
Phone messages left by the Associated Press at McDade's Fairfax, Va., home were not immediately returned Wednesday. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
McDade served in Congress from 1963 to 1999. He did not seek re-election in 1998.
He was the longest-serving Republican in the House when he was indicted in 1992 on charges he accepted gifts from defense companies in exchange for helping them win lucrative contracts.
He was cleared by a Philadelphia jury in August 1996, but not before losing the opportunity to become chairman of the House Appropriations Committee when Republicans won the congressional majority in 1994.
Actually, he's 75...born in 1931 and his birthday is in September. I guess the math was too complicated for the reporter.
