Dear Lord. I will pray you don't lose power or suffer any other inconveniences that might be dangerous.

I had to push my front door open this morning too! we only got about 5 inches, but it was powder and 25 mile an hour winds all night, some pretty good drifts.

I thought we were going to get a major storm here and was hoping school would be closed (some things don't change, even when you're the teacher). But apparently the university never closes here. I was told that one time the university shut down and the students drank up all the beer in town and caused havoc in the bars. I assume that's an urban legend.

The bus steps were slushy and even tho I was going down one at at time, I slipped and slid all the way down into the snow below. I think I wrenched my shoulder trying to hold on to the rail. It's been a few hours now and my range of motion w/o pain is getting quite restricted.

Thank goodness I didn't hit my head on the steps on the way down and that there was so much snow when I reached the bottom. It was actually kinda warm and cuddly down there... Some young things helped the old lady up and check out that nothing was broken. Enough snow and cold already!
