I've watched the show a few times.
This will definitely make me stop. No way I'll participate in helping that creep get access to desperate young males looking for their "big" break.

DIdn;t they have a spin off "Teen Idol", or "Child Idol" a few years back? I assume Michael would have preffered mentoring on those shows.

I'll be watching. I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan.

The creator of American Idol is Simon COWELL, not Fuller. I do hope that the writer is also mistaken about Michael Jackson coming on the show. Why should anyone help him 'come back' from the obscurity he so richly deserves?

I might end up eating my words, but I don't believe anyone associated with Idol is this stupid. Of course, I probably would have said the same thing about the OJ book so...

It's good way to tank your ratings. I'll, certainly, stop watching!

American Idol Star Kevin Covais went missing yesterday and was last seen headed to a private session with Idol Mentor Michael Jackson. Covais was attempting to become a repeat idol finisher. Police are investigating.

Oh no! I love that show, but if they pander to a child molester, or attempt to use him as a musical mentor to these contestants, there is no way I will ever watch it again.

you'll be in the minority, it will be a ratings bonanza.
Massive segments of the population will tune in to see what freaky surgical mutilations he has undertaken since last seen in public.

I couldn't agree more. This is outrageous considering so many of the contestants are under 18 years of age.

Nothing to fear - the male contestants are FAR too old for Jackson's taste.... he prefers prepubescents....

None of the American Idol contestants are under 12 so this is no big deal.

I watch the show....and I just hope Michael fixed his face. It will be hard to watch the show when I'm watchign Michaels nose falling off his face. I actually on the fence about him.....I think he's a very talented but mixed up person. I hope he makes a comeback....

I don't watch American Idol and never have watched it. But, with the show as successful as it currently is and with the "Eeeeewwwww!" factor surrounding Michael Jackson, the show's creators would have to out of their minds to let him anywhere near it. Why mess with a show that's at the very top of the entertainment mountain, especially by hiring a freak and a pedophile who bought his way out of jail and then fled the country?
