Some people don't even know that the Bill of Rights was NEVER intended to cover the states and was routinely violated by state laws.
Some people believe that anything which restricts ANY individual from having ANY weapon at ANY time in ANY place is infringing upon the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms.
But in anycase it was the NY City Council which wrote the laws regarding weapons there not Guiliani.
Actually, the BOR was never intended to be included in the Constitution in the first place.
Because the FedGov would never ever expand beyond its enumerated powers. Right?
The 14th Amendment extends the BOR to the States.
