Launch of Pro-mission site by military, for military.

Hello from Baghdad.
I and a Vietnam vet friend of mine have launched a new site, AppealForCourage.org which allows active duty military to (legally) tell Congress and the media that they should support our mission, and that their criticism does hurt our morale while emboldening our enemies.
This site is partly in response to the leftist site AppealForRedress. It was created by a big money group and given a free pass by the media. I don't have any money for advertising, and I don't expect the media to help.
If you folks at FR could help publicize it in other websites and to your military friends, I think we could get thousands of signatures and have an impact at this crucial juncture in the war. Thank-you for your help.
V/r,
LT Jason Nichols, USN

Support Appeal For Courage
Groups and Organizations
If your organization supports Operation Iraqi Freedom or the military service, and would like to team up to publicize this site or help bring it to Congress, please email committee@appealforcourage.org for information.
Individuals
Anyone can help by downloading a flyer and posting wherever allowed. Military members who can post at FOBs, flight-lines or on ship would be particularly helpful. Other areas of possible help include:
- Submit a new flyer, which will be posted around Iraq and on this site for download by others.
- Help spread the word by writing letters & emails to blogs and news organizations.
- Write your Congress member regarding AFC.
- Tell your friends!

This is a great idea! We need to hear from the guys over there, and make it clear that they are being just as disheartened by the MSM propaganda as we are here at home.
My son is there in Iraq and he is so mad at the MSM that he sometimes forgets and starts talking "Marine" when we discuss the war coverage. Then I have to get all "Mom" on him...
I will bookmark your site and forward this post to my entire list. Take care God bless Thank you for your service.

Thanks. It's guys like your son who bear the brunt of the weight now, and it's guys like the Iraqis, and eventually all of America, who will pay if we lose the war on the homefront.
--One comment on FR, and already 3 add'l sigs. Considering most of the other sigs were by word of mouth from me to my friends, so that's a good start!
Thanks everyone, I'm going to get to work doing a link image. I'll update on progress next week.

I met Lefty Kreh at a flyfishing show last week.
Lefty told me about his experience in the Battle of the Buldge...said they lost more to trench foot than the fighting.
I gave him this link and asked if he could do anything for these guys.
Had at it Freeps.

They maybe could use some gear.
I did not know how to post a thread for this alone, and if it is a risk then mod take down my post. Thank You.

Amm:
Here is a link pic I just made. I'm not the graphics type, but it will work until I can get my more graphics-savvy friend to make something.
It's on imageshack b/c there's only one computer I can ftp to from here in Baghdad, and I can't reach the site until morning. :)
So tomorrow I'll post it on appealforcourage.org. Thanks again!
