The guy who's supposed to be the Great Liberal Hope is coming across as incredibly ameteurish just days out into his campaign.

Too late.
He said what he thought.
We heard it.

This fool shouldn't be elected elementary class school President. Kim Jong-Il would give him a mean face and he'll wet his britches.

What I would say and meant to say is that their service hasnt been honored,
"I apologize if you were offended." What a weasel.

And the new statement is no better. Give this guy a shovel. He's gonna need it soon if he keeps piling this stuff on.
Is it possible the Iraqi's keep hearing statements like this from the democrats and find it difficult to trust them to help if another democrat is elected?

In less than 3 days he causes an international incident by attacking one of our most loyal allies, John Howard and the the amazing Aussie military. Now this. Obama, you are a lightweight and not ready for prime time. There will many more incidents of you sticking your foot in your mouth in the next two years. You can't fill the president's shoes.

The best is how the NYT blew sandwiched the comment between doting paragraphs.

It reminds me of Kerry's testimony before Congress in 1971, "How do you ask someone to be the last man to die for a mistake?" Remarks like Obama's undermine the morale of our military and hinder recruitment and retention. Writing off the lives of more than 3000 Americans who liberated a country of 25 million as "wasted" is just stupid. I wonder how he feels about the lives lost in Afghanistan.

Quayle was chastised endlessly for a spelling blunder but Obama will get a pass for this?
Ooops..... I forgot the media did not create Quayle.

Wouldn`t be a hoot to watch Mitt or Rudy debate Sen.Babambaa? And if Newt got a hold of him, they`d have to call the Humane Society.
