Staying home and not voting is everything a Conservative is against! Makes me wonder what type of conservative would stay home and not vote. I have held my nose more than once but I never would think of staying home and not voting in any election.

"Makes me wonder what type of conservative would stay home and not vote."

Especially at this time when we face the greatest threat to our Republic since WWII.

How any intelligent conservative could stay home or throw their vote away is beyond me.

And so many of those claiming to be conservative do say just that... it mystifies me. If by some remote chance McCain gets the nomination I will be holding my nose, no matter what I don't want another Clinton in the White House.

Conservatives and just people in general who aren't sheep. Voting for someone who you disagree with on probably 80% of the issues is garbage. I refuse to be a part of a Giuliani-run White House. I already live with plenty of guilt. Why add to it with a vote for a leftist posing as a republican?

And spare me the Clinton line. I said I live in a safe state, so I ain't helping Clinton win.

I'll gladly vote republican if the nominee is not Giuliani or Hagel. I'll even vote for McCain.
