Sorry folks, but I agree with her point of view. He could indeed get shot at a gas station if he went there to rob it.
The race card in various forms is front and center in Obama's campaign. His supporters in the MSM for weeks have written on the subject of "is America ready for a black president" and more than hinted that if Obama is not elected, it would be only because of the racism of whites. As if it would be impossible to oppose an Obama presidency on any other grounds.
I didn't see the "60 Minutes" interview, but they played part of it on the radio this morning. Regarding the question, "are you black enough?" Obama related that when he walked around the southside of Chicago, and visited his barbershop and played basketball, the folks down there would never question his blackness. He also said that he felt black enough when he had to catch a cab. I call BS on that one -- especially any time in the past 15 or 20 years. Maybe as a young man he ran into the fear that some cabdrivers have when picking up black riders in certain neighborhoods, but I seriously doubt that Barack Obama -- Harvard Law student, law professor, state senator and U.S. Senator, has run into that anytime recently.
And odds are by another Black man!

I have lately had a gnawing feeling that a staged "attempt" would be made against the junior senator, then found to have been perpetrated by a conservative/republican/christian in an effort to garner last minute sympathy for her. Remember how quickly they jumped on the VRWC right after the OK City bombing. These folks ambitions know no bounds and we'd probably all be amazed at the tricks they have up their (collective) sleeve.

How a cab driver know what school he went to? If a cab driver decides that he is going to avoid black patrons for whatever reason, then it wouldn't matter what school the black person went to, where they live, or whether their mother was white. It is strictly based on the color of that person's skin, and the reasons why the driver may avoid such people.
