The last time a junior Senator ran for president from a major state, it didn't turn out so good. Think '1968' and wonder if history could repeat itself.I have lately had a gnawing feeling that a staged "attempt" would be made against the junior senator, then found to have been perpetrated by a conservative/republican/christian in an effort to garner last minute sympathy for her. Remember how quickly they jumped on the VRWC right after the OK City bombing. These folks ambitions know no bounds and we'd probably all be amazed at the tricks they have up their (collective) sleeve.
