Giuliani probably fits right in the middle of that range. I went through an exercise with another Freeper last week in which we documented Giuliani's track record on ten major issues, and the end result was that he probably warrants an "equivalent ACU rating" of 20-25.

I've looked at Rudy and the issues. I would say he is about 60% conservative and that's after being Mayor for the electorate of a liberal cesspool.

Anyway, in the primaries, given Rudy's Abortion, 2a and illegal immigration record, Rudy should not be our nominee.

The problem with this statement is that he's not nearly as solid as a lot of folks might think. Of the ten issues we discussed, he only got a 1 (on a 0-1 scale) on a single issue -- tax policy. For the other nine issues we gave him either a 0.5 or an "incomplete."
