Obama is extremely dangerous - he's clever enough to win power, but not clever enough to use power wisely. I hear the strains of Wagner's "Gotterdammerung" whenever I see him on television: under his leadership, expect a thundering collapse.

I don't think he's going anywhere. At this point in time, he is enabling The Beast to move up in the rankings, though...and that's bad enough.

It's still a long road to November 2008. I haven't lost ALL hope for America. Yet. :)

Ivan, Obama stands very little chance of being the Dem nominee. Each Presidential cycle the Dems must include a token black candidate to reward and energize its most loyal constituency, which votes over 90% for their nominee. If he makes a credible showing, Obama may be considered for VP. It is going to be a coronation for Hillary except if Al Gore were to enter the race. Obama represents no threat to Hillary. In fact, Hillary does better among blacks than Obama.
